All of these buildings are wonderful architectural jewels of Sweden and also make some must-see attractions. Visit as many Swedish churches as you can. You won’t regret it.

Luleå domkyrka

Another remarkable church of Sweden is the Luleå domkyrka. It can be found in the city with the same name and it was founded in 1839. The cathedral is about 60 m tall and 54 m long. Its spire stands tall, offering great views over the city. The Luleå domkyrka is a major landmark of the city and attracts several visitors every year. You shouldn’t miss it either.

Linköpings domkyrka

Linköpings domkyrka is one of the largest churches in Sweden. It can be found in Linköpings, right opposite the castle. The actual church was built in the 13th century, with some parts added in the following centuries. The church is easily recognizable due to its copper plating which is today of a greenish color due to corrosion. Not only the exterior of the cathedral, but its interior are both breathtaking.

Lunds domkyrka

Also known as Lund Cathedral, this wonderful religious building is another immense church of the country. Situated in the city with the same name, the cathedral is a remarkable architectural jewel of Sweden. There are some highlights inside the cathedral, including a fantastic Astronomical clock, a Gothic altarpiece and the crypt. It is absolutely a must-see church of the country.
