Another beautiful castle of Sweden is the Trolleholm Castle located in Scania. The castle has been known since 1424 and today it is an important tourist attraction. The castle used to be a monastic estate during the Middle Ages. The estate actually comprises more than 100 houses and occupies 5,000 hectares.
Scania has other wonderful castles, too. One such architectural jewel is the Marvinsholm Castle. It was built in the 17th century, on poles in a small lake.
